Practice Discovery
This project started out as the Practice Discovery site and has morphed currently into Ematchphysicians.
It features a complete content management system that lets novice administrators control all content on the public facing site for quick turnaround time in SEO operations. This management system also lets administrators directly control the accounts of users as well as manage payment scheduling and other associated functionality.
On the registered users internal side, all operations are handled via SSL with complete integration with Authorize.net payment transaction servers.
The main operations of the site include a physician and job algorithmic matching system. The site also includes an internal messaging system with CV support, an invitation calendar, a profiles creator, and an unlimited images photo manager.
I was responsible for bringing this project to fruition from early conceptual drawings, site planning, project planning, database architecture, information architecture, all graphic design, all PHP development, and final testing.
Vanguard Military
A medium sized company specializing in military insignia and memorabilia products, Vanguard Military needed a thorough update to their e-commerce site from database to site design.
One of the unique requirements of this site was for a plug-in solution to their legacy book keeping back end systems which involved periodic file exports of MySQL data into custom formats.
The old site and e-commerce system was scrapped and a completely new system was built from the ground up. From visual design, information architecture, database architecture, and all backend functions including a shopping cart, content management system, and secured payment transaction gateway, all systems were completely new and did not port any old code.
Biosurplus
The scope of this project included writing the visual and DHTML/CSS for the intranet inventory management solution that Biosurplus was selling to their clients.
As shown, after a wireframe representing the desired layout and user flow was established, the next step was in determining the visual identity of the product and then finally coding up the necessary DHTML/CSS for the back end developers to incorporate into the application.
Paraccel
The Paraccel project was very similar to the Biosurplus project in terms of deliverables. After meetings with the primary stakeholder to capture feature requirements and pending improvements to an existing web application, optimizations to user flow and information architecture were made in the final design.
The deliverables included a set of shots showing critical components and explanations of optimizations made to the design.
Puma Ridge
The Puma Ridge project was a basic template design set to help startup this real estate venture. The feedback from the primary stakeholders led to several different design directions and was completely conducted remotely.
Preventsys
Preventsys was submitted with three unique design directions from conservative to edgy. A middle path was found to be the best solution considering the target audience and the flavor of the corporate culture. All graphic chart illustrations and photography were also completed in-house by me.
